The Moutoa Drainage Board gives notice by advertisement in this issue of the rates it is intended to be levied on all rateable properties for the year ending March 31st, 1922. On Saturday morning at 9.30 o’clock, the Foxton Auctioneering Co. will sell meat, and at 2 pan. Urn usual mart sale will be held, entries for which are advertised to-day. Further entries are invited. “Raupai,” the excellent 2s (id tea retailed by W. D. Bauckham, should be sampled by every household in the district. MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD. NOTICE is hereby given that this Board intends, at a meeting to be held at the Office of the Board, on SATURDAY, June 25th, 1921, to make and levy, under the provisions of “The Rating Act, 1908,’’ and “The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1908,” and any amendments thereto, a General Rate of nine-sixteen-ths of a penny in the £ upon the rateable (Unimproved) value of all rateable properties appearing in the I Valuation Roll of the Moutoa Drainage, District, and to collect one farthing in the £ (being a portion of the Special Rate of 3d in the £) on the Unimproved Value of all properties in the Special Rating District. Such Rates to be for the period commencing Ist April, 1921, and ending 31st March, 1922, and to be due and payable in one sum at the Office of the Board on the 11th July, 1921.
