REV. ARCHER v. “NEW ZEALAND TIMES.”

The Supreme Court was occupied all day with the hearing of an action for alleged libel. . Rev. J. K. Archer, of Christchurch, against the New Zealand Times. The claim, which is for £1,500 damages, arose through editorial comment in the Times on the Marxian principles alleged to be held by Rev. Archer, who had been appointed teacher under the Workers’ Educational Associa-j tion. The ease has not concluded.
