Adapted from the novel, “Angel Esquire,” by England’s foremostmelodramatic writer, Edgar Wallace, the picture of the above title should provide first-class entertainment to patrons at the Town Hal!
To-night. This all-British G-reel detective drama abounds in thrills, surprising situations, sensational developments, trials of strength and attractive romance. Among the big scenes in the picture are the fighting rescue of the heroine from a gang of thieves, the old mill ablaze from foundations to roof, and the smart way in which the villain and his gang are foiled and captured by the Scotland Yard detectives. A further episode of “The Dragon’s Net,” entitled “Thrown Overboard,” will be screened. This episode was taken in mid-Pacific, on board a finer, and is most exciting. Usual prices.
