BOWLING
A match for the Nye Perns was played on .the local green yesterday afternoon. The weather was perfect for bowling, and the green, considering the lateness of the season, played remarkably well. A very enjoyable game resulted, the final scores being in favour of the chal- *■ lengers by eight points. The teams and scores were: Spring John Ross D.
