HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT,
The High Commissioner's cable dated 7th inst. reads: —
Manila market dull and depressed; continuance of coal strike has caused further stoppage and reduction in cordage industry, which has resulted in decreased demand. Sellers quote J grade, FebruaryApril shipment, £42, May-July shipment £3B. New Zealand neglected, and tendency downwards. Quotations nominal and unchanged.
