WEDNESDAY FOR PALMERSTON NORTH. Palmerston N., April 27. At the poll to-day the Wednesday half-holiday proposal was carried, BLENHEIM CLOSES SATURDAY. Blenheim, April 27. In the polling to-day the voting was as follows: —Saturday halfholiday 1,085, Wednesday- 718. OAMARU WANTS SATURDAY. Oamaru, April 27. To-day the Saturday half-holiday was carried, the voting being- Saturday 820, Thursday 438, Monday 1, Tuesday 1. NEW PLYMOUTH CHANGES. Now Plymouth, April 27. At the poll to-day on the halfholiday (which is now Thursday), the voting was: Saturday, for 1,895, against 518. AT MASTERTON. Masterton, April 27. The voting was as follows: —Saturday 1.565, Thursday 1,170. Carterton carried the Saturday half-holiday hy#a majority of 90 voles.
