On Saturday morning the Foxton Auctioneering Coy. will sell lamb, pork, beef and mutton by auction, at their marl, Avenue Road (opposite Manawalu Hotel), commencing at; 0.30 o’clock sharp. To-morrow (Friday) they will hold a meat sale, instead of Saturday morning. The list includes pure-bred Rhode Island Red fowls, spring cart, fruit, vegetables, onions, potatoes, kitchen chairs, pictures, and furniture of all kinds and sundries. The values on offer at the C. Ross Coy.’s Sale are an eye-opener. Not for years have you been able to make your purchases so cheaply.
