ROYAL PICTURES.
“Sooner or Later," owen Moore's second Selzniek picture, to be shown to-morrow and Thursday evening, is an adaptation by R. Cecil Smith of Lewis Allen Browne’s story, entitled “The Woman Hater," end it offers the star manifold opportunities to display his talent as a light comedian. The sum and substance of the title is that they all fall sooner or later in matters of love. Patrick Murphy, the character played by Mr. Moore, is no exception, although he is known as a woman-hater. He tries to help out his friend, Robert. Ellis, whose new bride lias left him, and, much to his surprise, lie is convinced that the person he has fallen in love with i> the wife in question. He kidnaps the girl, and takes her to his friend’s home, and, to save her reputation when visitors arrive and convince him that she is not Ellis’ wife, he declares that they are just married, Complications ensue when burglars enter the bouse, and the incidents are crammed full of humour. As an extra lo the foregoing programme, a further episode of the “Vanishing Dagger*” will be shown. •
