FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it by Sections 77, 78 and 79 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” Section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909,” and Sections 48 to 55 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” the Foxton Borough Council will, at a meeting to be held on Monday the 9th day of May, 1921, at 7.30 pan., make and levy a General Rate of threepence and seventeen thirty-seconds penny in the £, a Library Rate of one-eighth penny in the £, and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of thirteen thirty-seconds penny in the £ on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable properties in the Borough of Foxton, and also a sanitation fee of seventeen shillings per pan on all house property in the nightsoil area. Such rates and Sanitation Fees to be for a period commencing on the first day of April, 1921, and terminating on the 3]st day of March, 1922; and the said rates and.sanitation fees to be due and payable in one sum on the 15th dav of May, 1921. SIIOOTINIG SEASON FOR IMPORTED AND NATIVE GAME. following imported Game, viz., Cook Pheasants, Californian and Australian Swamp Quail, amnia res, may be taken in the Wellington Acclimatisation Society’s district from the 2nd May, 1921, to 31st July, 1921, both days inclusive, and Licenses to kill such imported Game within the said district shall be issued to any person on payment of the sum of Twenty Shillings each, by the Postmaster at Palmerston North, Sanson, Eoxton, Longburn, Bunnytliorpe, Rongotea, and Terrace End. The following Native Game, Grey Duck, Teal, and Black Swan, may be killed within the above mentioned district as described in the First Schedule (except in the areas mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto) from 2nd May, 1921, to 31st July, 192.1, both days inclusive.
