An alteration made last year in the law relating to the election of school committees is of importance in view of the approaching annual elections. Where the attendance at a school exceeded 120 in 1920. nominations, even in the case of rural areas, must be made a week before the meeting. Nominations for committees where the school attendance is under 120, may, as hitherto, be received at the meetings.
