"The Flaming Clue,” to be I lie star attraction at the Royal to-mor-row night, is that rani avis—a rattling good detective story. It shows all the latest methods employed by secret service operatives for-the detection of crime, in the shape of suhterranographs, pocket periscopes, sound magnifying discs, suction climbers, and even (he latest developments in'"finger print work. Harry Morey is starred as Cornell, the detective who, single handed, rounds up a hand of counterfeiters, and in doing so meets romance and a future partner of his joys and sorrows. Excitement reigns intense throughout, and 111 ere are no murders brought in, their absence agreeably compensated for by the novelties that are introduced. A good, clean picture, with plenty of interesl for every iasle, produced lavishly and convincingly. As an extra another episode of “The Vanishing Dagger” will he shown.
