BOROUGH FINANCES
The Borough Treasurer reported at last night’s Council meeting as follows: —
During the month of February the sum of £730 Os Od was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts as under: District fund account £7lB 2s (id, cemetery account £7 17s (id. The balances of the various ledger accounts at the 28th day of February, 1021, were as follows: Imprest cash £lO, gas works £GI 3s lOd, general £353 9s 4d, hospital and charitable aid £l7 Os lid, reserves account £ll7 10s Bd, interest £470 12s 2d, iixed deposit £I,OOO, all at debit, a total of £2.030 2s lid. The accounts in credit were: Cemetery £IOO 11s Bd, contractors’ deposits £IGO, library £124 0s lid, council chamber roc. £1,232 IGs lid, sanitation £lB5 15s lid, town hall £230 14s sd, water and drainage loan £1,807 3s (id,'a total of £3,841 3s 4d. - SUMMARY.
