BOWLING

The Shannon Bowling Club will hold their annual pairs tournament on St, Patrick’s Day (Thursday next), and has extended an invitation to the local Club to be represented by two pairs. All players desirous of making the trip are requested to put their names on the board at the green.

Entries for the Manawatu Centre's Easter tournament close at Palmerston North on Wednesday next. - Already a large number of entries have been received, and it is anticipated a record number of rinks will take*'part in this year’s tournament.-
