The programme screened last night will he repeated to-night. Unusual beauty characterises the background of the latest Sessue liayakawa release, “The Dragon Painter." It is said to be the most artistic picture that has ever been filmed. The story, based on a wonderful love legend of old Japan, tells of the crazed search of a mountain artist ofr “The Dragon Princess." Sessile Hayakawa, whose dramatic power has built for him a deservedly great following, does justice to a passionate and intense role. Everything in the picture, including the entire east, is Japanese.
