WATERFRONT DEADLOCK.
THE DIGGERS’ APPEAL TO “PLAY THE GAME.” The Hororata is to take from Wellington a consignment of Nelson apples. Many cases have already reached Wellington, and The Post lias been asked to publish the following telegram sent to “Watersiders, Wellington,” and signed “Molueka Diggers”: — “Don’t let the old Diggers down, There are hundreds of us here depending on your loading fruit
into Hororata. Play-the game.”
The watersiders acceded to the request, and blamed the employers.
