TENNIS.

A team of six ladies and six gentlemen from the local Club journeyed to Levin on Saturday afternoon, and played a match with the Levin Club. The result of the match was a decisive win for the Levin team, who have a very strong combination, and are keen players. The local players were entertained most hospitably, and thoroughly enjoyed the outing. A return match with Levin will be played on the local courts on a future date.

The following are the. results of the games, the Levin players being mentioned first in each instance:
