THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows: The indications are for, northerly winds, backing by west to south, then freshening to gale. The weather appears likely to ho cloudy and unsettled, with heavy rain following. The weather will probably become very cold. Barometer has a falling tendency, but rising soon. Tides increasing to good, seas increasing to heavy.
