FOUND HANGING

Xclson, Yest ei'cln y. The boil.v of a man, presumably lliat of Thomas llamm, was fouinf hanging from a tree in Trafalgar Square yesterday. Deceased was rescued from the harbour oil llm ‘JOth January, when he stated that lie had walked over the wharf in the darkness. After treatment in the hospital, lie was discharged last Saturday, and was found dead as stated yesterday. A bank passbook and a reference contained the name “Thomas Barron,” but the Coroner said there was no evidence to show that- deceased was Thomas Barron. A photograph found on the deceased was that of the dead, and the Coroner ordered the photograph to he sent .to Wellington for ideal iiication. The inquest was adjourned.
