MAORI MIRACLE MAN

INTERESTING WANGANUI CASES.

The Chronicle understands that two local ladies have good reason to be pleased for having communicated with Tahu Katana, through whom many miraculous cures are being recorded. One of these ladies has suffered from a previously seemingly incurable nervous disorder which has given her and her relatives much reason for anxiety for a good many years past. Following upon reports of what has transpired at Ratana, it was.decided by the affected one to write to Tahu in the hope that relief might come to her, and this was done. One evening a beautiful vision appeared to her, followed by a thrill which seemed to pervade her whole body. She felt better almost immediately, and her relatives and friends noticed even a physical change in her facial appearance. That there are all the points in favour of recording a cure is shown by the fact that there litis been no recurrence of the trouble, and as a matterpf fact the lady has been able to leave her home and walk unattended, which was altogether impossible previously. Another lady who lias suffered from severe attacks of asthma communicated with Tahu at the same time in the hope that relief might come to her, and we understand that a remarkable cure has also been effected in that she can now breathe without the slightest difficulty. Hopes are entertained that the cures tire permanent, and there have very naturally been much thanksgiving in the respective households. Both ladies are well-known in their immediate neighbourhood, where they are enthusiastic church-work-ers.
