ROYAL PICTURES
A picture that will keep you smiling from start to finish, with a star that will fascinate you, and a story that will thrill yon, can be seen to-night at the Royal, where Alice Brady in her newest Select picture, “His Bridal Night,” is playing. “His Bridal Night” is one of the liveliest little farces the screen has seen for some time. Miss Brady, in the dual role of Ah and Tiny -Playfair, twins,' reaches the zenith of her screen acting. Never before lias she done more natural or enthusiastic work. With her spontaneity and irrcsistable personality, her characterisation of A i, the gay, heartless little flirt, is superb. And as Tiny, the demure, faithful soul, she is equally as splendid. The remaining cast is headed by Edward Earle, and gives excellent support.
On Monday night AVilliam Farnum will score again, and score big, when he appears on the screen at tho Royal in "The Last of the Duanes,” a pielurisaiion of the novel by Zano Grey. This AVilliam Fox production is the best Western picture ever seen here. In addition lo having a, strongly sympathetic love story running throughout the drama, All’ Farnum's impersonation of Buck illume is peculiarly vivid. It is difficult to realise that any man could escitpo serious injury in the many things that the star has to do in this picture.
