North Island singles championship trial: A Ross (Christcliuich) boat Dr. Whittaker (Palmerston N.). 2(1 —14,222.0 —2. North Island ladies’ singles championship trial: Miss Murray-Ayns-ley (Christchurch) beat Miss Gerard (Christchurch), 20 —8. The handicap singles was won b.v Dr. Whittaker, and the handicap doubles by Miss Richardson and MaeCulloch.
