Last Wednesday afternoon a match for the Nye Ferns was played, when the holders defeated the challengers by a margin of ten points. The teams and scores were: Crawley Jno. Ross Woods Galland Hawke - D. Whibley

Nye (s) 21 Christie (s) 11 A match for the Pennants, played the same day, between Smith and Roore (holders.) and Stubbing and Tattersall (challengers), resulted in a win for the holders by 20 points, to 10.

There was a good attendance of bowlers on the green yesterday afternoon, and some interesting play resulted. Another match for the Nye Ferns was played, and this was a particularly close and interesting c-ame, the scores being level on several occasions, and after 21 heads had been played the board read 20 all. The challengers scored one on the extra head, and thus won the trophies. The teams were Smith D. Whibley Roore Mercer Hawke F. Whibley (s) 21 Nye (s) 20 In a match for the Pennants, the holders (Smith and Roore) defeated the challengers (Mercer and i. Whibley) by 22 points to 14.
