“Better to have tried and lost than never to lmve-tried at all' may be said of the local Club’s rink which took part in the Dominion tournament. In view of. the inct that they we’re in championship 1 company, they did well to secure two wins out of the eight games played. Apart from victory or defeat, the local Club will benefit by the experience gained at the tournament by its representatives.
Of the two games played on Thursday, Foxton secured one win, the results being as follows: — Noble (Newtown) 25, v. Whiblev (Foxton) 17. Whiblev 24, v. King (Victoria) 2J.
