In view of. the inct that they we’re in championship 1 company, they did well to secure two wins out of the eight games played. Apart from victory or defeat, the local Club will benefit by the experience gained at the tournament by its representatives.

Of the two games played on Thursday, Foxton secured one win, the results being as follows: — Noble (Newtown) 25, v. Whiblev (Foxton) 17. Whiblev 24, v. King (Victoria) 2J.
