COLLISION AT CROSSING

t Morrinsville, Jan. 12. The early train from Rotorua this morning collided with a milk waggon at AYalmron, owned by Air AA. Ryan, of Waharoa, and driven by an employee, Mr Frank Pitts. One horse was killed outright, and the second was so severely injured that it had to be destroyed.

The accident happened at it crossing near the Waharoa dried milk factory. Mr Pitts had a remarkable escape from death, being thrown clear and uninjured. Tito (iigine and waggon were damaged.
