BOROUGH FINANCES
The Borough Treasurer reported as follows at Monday night’s Council meeting:— In accordance with the resolution passed at last meeting/»tlie sum of £I,OOO has been placed on fixed deposit at the Bank. During' the month the sum of £553 11s Bfl was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts as under: District fund account £5-19 11s Bd, cemetery account £4 Os Od. The ledger balances at the 31st were as follows Cemetery £9l 18s Id, gas works £52 Os 7d, library £l3l 11s Od, reconstruction £1,252 Os 3d, sanitation £239 14s Od, town h:|ll £.174 14s sd, all in credit, "t total of £1,941 18s 7d. The accounts at debit were: Imprest cash £lO, general £229 11s Id, hospital and charitable ,{• Id £l7 15s 9d, reserves £l4l 0s Sd, interest £345 8s 2d, fixed deposit £I,OOO, a total of £1,748 15s Bd.
