In every respect “Quiimeys’,” tonight's Mar attraction, is an admirable production, and Henry AiuleV

registers an even greater success in :ho lii.ni than he did in the role he •reated on the stage. Thus one of !he lines! character studies of the modern stage is recalled, and supplemented with those subtle touches which the screen permits the actor to superimpose upon Iris previous conception of the role. All through the tilin is a triumph of acting, and the settings are a splendid example of created atmosphere by means of -affable backgrounds.

On Monday night a double Fox programme will he screened. In “Black Shadows" the crafty work ~f a kleptomaniac and Hie evil possibilities 1 of hypnotism form the basis of the plot. This is a mystery play which makes a peculiarly strong heart appeal, since it deals with unjust accusations against the heroine, who accepts the situation in order to shield the sister of the man she loves. It is said that Miss Hyland handles the intensely dramatic situations in the play with exceeding cleverness. The other feature lihn, "The Dead Line,,” is a thrilling story, by Paul 11, Sionne, of a Kentucky feud, m which man's blood pays for blood shed. It deals with the moonshiners —desperate men of the mountains to whom a human life counts as nothing. It is said that George Walsh out duos himself in this production.
