. Another match for the Nye Ferns was played yesterday afternoon. The holders put on a substantial load from the first few heads, and retained same to the end, being 15 ahead when the twenty-first head had been played. The teams and scores were: — Smith John Ross Barr , Pearson F. Whihley Mercer Bryant (s) 30 Huntley (s) 15 The following rinks will represent the Palmerston North Bowling Club at the Dominion tournament to be held in Wellington shortly after the New Year:—Vapticr, Spackman, Livingstone, Jolly (skip); Grant, Wilton, Needham, Ramsay (skip); Seifert, W. E. Jones, N. 11. Nash, J. A. Nash (skip). A pairs tournament will be held on the local green on Christmas Day. Entries for same close with the secretary at 8 o’clock to-night.
