ST. MARY’S CONVENT.
ANNUAL SCHOOL CONCERT. The annual concert in connection with St. Mary's Convent pupils took place in the Town Hall on Tuesday night, before a large and appreciative audience. The stage was very tastefully decorated with (lowers and greenery. The ' various items, musical, elocutionary and dancing, reflected great credit upon the Convent teaching staff. The following was the programme submitted; — Pianoforte duet, “Irish Diamonds,” Misses C. Lundquist, and AV. Smith, infants’ action song, “Japloo Baby”; ribbon dance, senior girls; pianoforte trio, “In Merry Society,” Misses M. Wilson, M, McColl and M. Hunt; fancy dress drill, junior girls; recitation, “Her Evening Prayer,” Miss Nghaire Dunn; pianoforte duet, “Vulse Des Eleur,” Misses 11. Hynes and Y. Easton; song, “Bells of Twilight,” Miss Upton (encore, “The Minstrel Boy”); violin duct, “Maritana,” Miss Hynes (Ist), and Master S. Small (2nd), Masters M. Francis, R. Ebbetl, E. Graham; pianoforte solo, “Massa’s in the Cold, Cold Ground,” Miss Lundquist. Cantata, “Soot and Ihe Fairies"; “Queen Lily,” Mavis Dunn; “Captain Soot," David Dunn; “Dr, Sunlight,” Willie Hynes; “Lord Bootlace,” Siddie Wright; “Baron Hairbrush,” Paul Lundquist; “Lady Soapsuds," Rita Dunn; “AVag” (comical boy).
