ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER.
Wanganui, Dec. 8,
Stephen Harris was committed, for trial this morning for the alleged attempted murder of his wife, Lucy Harris, on Geloher 21st. .fording io the evidence, accused, after'ji quarrel, attacked her with a razor and then cut his own throat, severing the wind-pipe.
