METHODIST CHURCH.
SCHOOL CONCERT AND PRIZEGIVING. There was a large and appreciative audience in the Alasonic Hall last night in connection with the Sunday School Concert and prizegiving. The Rev. Air Harding presided. The programme was provided by the scholars, who acquitted themselves with credit, each item meeting with hearty appreciation. Several of the' anniversary hymns were also repeated. The following is Hie programme: Pianoforte duel, Gladys Griffin and Esina Oxley; recitation, “Tommy’s Wonders,” Walter Staff; action song, “buttercups,” by Margaret Staff, Violet Bangs, Lylla Robinson, Berta Griffin and Dulcie Brown; song, “Moonrise,” Dulcie Staff; recitation,
"Cat's Tea-party,” Decima Brown: market song by buys and girls (encored) ; pianoforte solo, Ruby King; recitation, “Jeremy Stripes," (encored), Alargaret Staff; action song, “Japanese Can,” by eight girls; song, “What Will You Take for Ate, Berta Gridin; comic drill, “Three Cats from Cat Land” (encored), .Bernard and Bruce Chrystall and Lacey King; action song, “'this is Hie Way the Snow Comes Down,’’ by little girls; action song, "The Forge,’’ Bob Bangs ami Frank Co wJe v.
Those responsible tor training the children were Alesdames Harding, Chalk, Kennerley, and Miss Chalk in the action songs, and .Miss Honore the pianoforte pieces.
Tiie superintendent, Mr (J. Huntley, presented the prizes as follows :

Gift hooks were presented to ihe remainder, ahotil lid hooks in all. Refreshments- wen* handed round at the conclusion of a- very successful and enjoyable entertainment.
Special praise is due lo AH and Mrs Huntley, superintendent and -eeretary respectively, and the leaching si a IT, for the excellent work of (lie school during the year, and all who contributed to the success of a record anniversary.
