MINISTERIAL VISIT.
BRIEF STOP AT FOXTON
The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Hon. Mr Coates (Minister for Public Works), and the Hon. Mr Guthrie (Minister for Lands), Avill pass through Foxton to-morrow at about 11.30 a.m., on a visit of infection of the proposed route of the Levin-Marlou railway. The visit was briefly discussed at last night's meeting of the Chamber of Commerce, and it Avas decided to invite the ptjhlic to assemble in front of the post office at the time indicated, when the Mayor will brielly extend a civic Avelcome to the Ministerial parly. As the Prime Minister's time is limited, his stay in Foxton will probably not exceed a quarter of an hour. It is hoped, hoAvever, that all who can make it convenient will assemble to meet him as an indication of Foxton’s interest in the national scheme of linking up the Main Trunk line along (lie route Avliich he is to traverse.
