Wanganui. This Afternoon

The re-bearing of the alleged perjury charge against F. S. Eas(mi was opened before His Honour •Judge Edwards this morning. Air Hutton was Crown prosecutor, and Mr T. AI. Milford appeared for the defence.

Evidence was given by Con- tables O’Donogbue and Woods, Air Ongley. Mr Stout, S.AI.

■Wright’s evidence, as given at Palmerston North, was read, as Wright was too ill to attend. The Court adjourned for lunch.
