SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP.
CHALLENGE FROM FQ6WELL. Blenheim, Nov. 23. At the ceremony of handing over the stakes for the New Zealand sculling championship race, Fogwell intimated that he was placing a deposit of £25 in the hands of a stakeholder for a challenge to Hannan for a championship race to be rowed before Christmas, probably in Picton harbour. Fogwell said tins would be his last win or lose.
