Mr Buchanan. Mr Vile thought it was hardly a Farmers’ Luioii matter. During the discussion lolloping on the introduction of the motion, the chairman observed that he could not see how speculation was to be avoided even if the Government did take over the land under the Arbitration Act or Public Works Act, as considered that the required'land i should have been purchased when the intention to make the deviation was first arrived at.
