The National Conference of Labour organisations completed its conference in AYcllington this week. A Post reporter was officially informed that the.conference had arrived at a decision by which it was Imped that the workers of New Zealand would be grouped into one association, which would “provide facilities for a belter system of industrial organisation for the wage-earners of the Dominion." The decisions of the conference, together with a report of the proceedings, will be submitted to the organisations represented at the conference, in order to give the workers generally an opportunity of discussing and approving (or otherwise) the conclusions reached.
