MANAWATU NOMINATIONS
The following nominatipus have been received for the various ridings in (lie; Alanawatu County: Sandon.—Mr W. J. Phillips (silling member) and Mr H. <l. Bagan.
Mt. Stewart. —Sir James Wilson (sitting member), re-elected nnop-
posed. Wait obi:—M r W. S. Penny (sitting member), re-elected unopposed. Hongotea. —Mr 11. H. Hunt (sitting member) and Mr C. Watkins, Carnarvon.—Air H, G. Hammond (sitting member), re-elected unopposed. Kawa Kawa. —Mr Jas, Boyce (sitting member), re-elected unopposed. A>vahon.—Mr W. E. Barber (sitting member), re-elected unopposed. HOHOWHFNUA COUNTY. In the Horowhenua County four nominations (Messrs S. A. Broadlicit, A. S. Death, C. J. Darkness and Jas. M‘e Leaver) have been received for three vacancies for Wliirokino Hiding; for the Te Horo Hiding (two vacancies) three nominations (Messrs H. L. Beauchamp, A. H. Knox and G. A. Monk) have been received. Bor the Tokomani Hiding Messrs IT. Earlier and J. H. Whyte and for the Otaki Hiding, Messrs H. G. Bryant and J. Rider have been elected unopposed. HOSPITAL BOARD.
'For two soots on the Hospital Board for (lie combined area comprising (lie Manawatu County and the Foxlun Borough, Sir-James Wilson and Mr -J. K. Hornhlow, the silling members, have been elected unopposed. .For the two seats for the Horowhenua County, the sitting members, Messrs A. S. Broadhelt and W. Murdoch, have also been returned
unopposed.
