ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH.

Bright and inspiring services wore held at All Saints’ Church on Sunday last, it being the festival of All Saints. In the morning the church was well filled, the congregation entering into the beauty and solemnity of the service with keen appreciation. Caleb Hamper's majestic chants for Holy Communion, beautifully rendered, added to the dignity and impressiveness, which will not be easily forgotten by those who were present.

In the evening the church wqs crowded to overflowing, many who could not Jind room remaining outside to listen. The choirmaster (Mr j{. T. Betty) had secured the assistance of several gifted instrumentalists, and the music rendered by this orchestra, together with the singing of a full and enthusiastic choir, lifted the congregation into spontaneous participation.

Both morning and evening tlie vicar (Kev. W. 11. Walton) delivered most helpful addresses, and very few went away without feeling they were in possession of some simple and practical truth worth remembering, and that they had participated in a great act of worship quite tilting for-lhe day.
