MANAWATU SHOW.

Ouv correspondent in Palmerston North advises ns (hat preparations being carried well forward as the day of the opening of the thirtyfifth of the Wellington district's Metropolitan Shows approaches. The Show is to begin on Wednesday, and lasts until the Friday. The Manawatu Kennel Club hold their annual exhibition in ■■ conjunction -with this Show. The GovernorGeneral is to honour the Association with his presence on the second day, and it is to be hoped that the f weather will be line to give him a cheery welcome. Any information " that may be repaired will lie gladly given on application to the secretary, Box 85, Palmerston North.
