MANAWATU SHOW.
This fixture, which takes place on the 3rd, 4th and slh November, promises to keep the good name of the Association, well to the fore.
The grounds are being improved on every side and notable among the improvements is Hie painting of the grandstand. Entries for live stoek are open until Saturday, 10th October, and these include'the ring events, which are numerous, and dog entries. If any intending exhibitor has not yet received a prize list he should waste no time in applying for one, and it will be forwarded to him. In the dairy rattle-division tins year there has been a new danse inserted by which purebred slock are not eligible. This should give the smaller farmer who docs not specialise! in purebred stoek ,a better chance. The Romney Marsh sheep in natural condition (-lasses again appear in this year's list. They proved 'very popular last year and it is anticipated that in time they will on!live (he other classes.
