Our readers are reminded Unit entries for school work, home indus-
tries, needlework, photography, hemp, and soldiers’ exhibits are due. Lo close with the secretary, box 05, Palmerston North, on October 91 h, and those in the live stock - divisions one week later. Intending exhibitors who have not as yet received a prize list should apply for one to be posted to them promptly. Numerous improvements to the grounds and buildings are being pushed forward, including the metalling of the low-lying roadways and lawn in front of the grandstand, which it is proposed to tar and sand after the Show.
The painting of the grand-stand is being hurried forward, and (he other buildings will follow as time and labour permit. .It is anticipated that both exhibitors and visitors lo the coming Show on the 3rd, 4th and - sth November will largely exceed those of previous years, and that/the selfsacrificing labours of the committee will be thus amply rewarded.
