The High Commissioner’s cable dated 2nd instant, reads: —
The Manila market is quiet and steady at last quotations. J grade,, August-Octoher shipment, sold at .069 10s. The New Zealand market is dull, no transactions reported. Sellers ask up to £55 for high-point spot, £53 fair; Augnst-October shipment, £54 and £sl respectively.
