FOOTBALL.
Trophies won by [lie local Junior team during the season comprise; The Coley Cup, presented by Mr Geo. Coley; the Hall Banner, and a carved Maori canoe, a very handsome piece of work. Medals presented by Mr A. E. Admore, Mr R. H. Beveridge and the Foxton Retailers’ Association (2) have been awarded as follows; Best all-round player, H. Reid; best back, W. Baker; best forward, M. Robinson; most improved player, H, Taylor.
These, and medals for the Thirdgrade team, will be presented at the annual ball on Tuesday next.
