BOROUGH FINANCES.

The Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night’s Council meeting as follows; —

During the month of August the sum of £274 18s 8d was received and placed to the credit of accounts as under: —District fund account £7lB 13s Bd, cemetery account £6 5s Od. The balances of the various accounts at the Bank of N.Z. on the 31st day of August, 1920, were as follows; —General £193 7s sd, gasworks £123 15s 9d, interest £2OO Kis 4d, library £2O (is 2d, reserves £99 17s 9d, all at debit, a total of £O4B 3s sd.
