CONGRATULATIONS.
The Mayor (Mr J. Chrystall) ha* received the following congratulatory telegram from Mr Ed. Newman, M.P., in respect to the water and drainage loan proposal:— “X heartily congratulate you on the successful result of the Joan poll, and sincerely hope that Eoxton will soon feel the benefit of the development therefrom. lam confident that the right thing was done in this ease.” Tile Mayor lias also received a similar telegram from Air D. W. Alatheson, Mayor of Levin, in which he congratulates the ratepayers ofEoxton on the result of the poll.
