Pahnerslon High School defeated Tc Ante, al Napier on Wednesday, in (he Moascar Cup competition, by S points to .5. The Horowhomia-.Manawatu junior representative match is being played at Palmerston North this afternoon. Of the team originally selected to represent Horowiienua, the captain, Reid, of Foxton, was unable to play, owing to injuries sustained in the last match with Waikauao. For the same reason the half-back chosen, Baker, of Foxton, was unable to play, having had a finger broken during last Saturday’s match. The injury was sustained early in the first spell, and Baker played through the rest of the game after binding his injured linger up, and avus a tower of strength to his team. Both these players Avill lie available in the return match against Wellington, to be played shortly. The amended team against Manawatu to-day is as follows: — Full back, Taylor; three-quarters, Tago, Moses, Kauri; five-eighths, Hakaraia, Porter; half, ..icholson; Avinger, Pcrenara; forwards, Larsen, McDonald, Eagle, Robinson, Robinson, Field, Howell.
