Auckland, August 24,

The position of the sugar workers at Chelsea remains unchanged, and the men have not y«t been able to rersume Avork, which was interrupted by the strike. The secretary of the union slated to-day that officials of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company had informed him that probably the Avorks Avould not be ready to resume operations for some days. Hearing of the dispute in the Arbitration Court Avill be commenced on Thursday.
