The fpiestion of judges was held over until further replies had been received bv the secretary.

The secretary pointed out Ilia I very few of the members had paid their subscriptions to dale. This wonhhonly mean more work immediately preceding the Show. Mr Galland brought down a report on suggested alterations' for the Summer Show, most .of whieb, after considerable discussion, was adopted. One alteration which dll exhibitors should note is that the cottage garden entries are in future to be judged a week before* the Show. By tliis means it is hoped to obtain further entries from those who might otherwise fear to spoil their garden display. The secretary reported that MrYT. Petrie had offered a prize of £1 Is Od to the best cottage vegetable garden—-.-ucli prize not to be open to the winner of the cottage garden. Tins entry will also be judged before the Show.

At the conclusion «>1! the routine business, Mr Giilhuid moved that the secretary lie instructed to write a k-ller cf sympathy to Mrs Symes in the loss of her late husband. The motion was carried in silence, the mem hers sI a n ding.
