JX the matter of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” “The Now Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1909,” and all Acts amending the same. r jPHE Coupcil of the Borough of Poston hereby gives notice that such Council proposes, for the purpose hereinafter mentioned, to raise a Special Loan of £30,900, at a rale.of interest not exceeding sper centum per annum, and Sinking Fund of £1 per centum per annum. ' £35,300 of such loan to tie applied for the purpose of providing with an Artesian Water Supply .‘pid Sewerage System sm-li area- within the boundaries of the Borough as may be decided by the Council. £7OO of such loan lo he applied for the purpose of erecting a Fire Station and (he purchase of Firelighting appliances as may be determined upon by the Council. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the said Special Loan,.and for the payment of Interest and other charges thereon, together with Sinking Fund to appropriate and pledge, as security a Special Rate of fivepence halfpenny in the £ on the rateable' value of all, rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and to be made and levied by resolution of the said Council, to be passed after the said Special Loan has been agreed .to by the Ratepayers. % The whole of the loan is to be repaid on the expiration of Thirty-six and a-half years from the date of raising the same. It is proposed to pay.out of the Loan Money the cost of raising the Loan and the Interest and Sinking Fund for the first year during the construction of the works, also the preliminary expenses incurred in ! etAmeetion with the said schemes and works.
