SHAMROCK BEATEN BY
HANDICAP
New York, July 1
Owing to her time allowance being increased, the Resolute won Tuesday’s race for the America Cup. The time allowance for the smaller yacht was increased to 7inin. Isec. on account of permission having boon given to the Shamrock to use a large “club” topsail.
