LEVIN-MARTON RAILWAY.
A correspondent to the Ohakune Times writes as follows :—^ “If it is possible to influence the Government to put the Juevin-Alar-lun line in hand what a-blessing to all of ns on the Alain Trunk'line. Even looking at it selfishly, we should have the express at Ohakune by 8.30 instead of 9.30, and the motor (‘ars would arrive' tm hour earlier than usual. 1 hope some member of the local bodies will chip in and pass a resolution supporting the agitation for the construction of this line. If we could only get the bridge over the Rangitikei river commenced it would be a start on a much-needed work.”
